Itinerary highlights

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, check into hotel and sleep.
Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing. Monkey Temple, Garden of Dreams and King’s Palace and 5PM we take 5 hour jeep ride to Ramechhap and check into hotel.
Day 3 Fly to Lukla (20 min flight) and trek to Manjo (2,610m/8,562ft), (9km), (4-5h).
Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft), (10km) (6-7h).
Day 5 Acclimatization day in Namche and 4-6 hour hike to Everest View Hotel and Sagarmatha National Park Museum.
Day 6 Trek to Tengboche (3,850m/12,650ft), (8km) (5-6h).
Day 7 Trek to Dingboche (4,410m/14,468ft), (11km), (5-6h).
Day 8 Acclimatization day in Dingboche.
Day 9 Trek to Lobuche (4,910m/16,108ft), (8.5km), (5h).
Day 10 Trek to Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) - Gorakshep (5,164m/16,942ft), (14km), (7-8h).
Day 11 Before Sunrise Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,208ft) and trek to Pheriche (4,240m/13,910ft), (11.5km), (7-8h).
Day 12 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft), (18km), (7-8h).
Day 13 Trek to Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft), (18km), (6h).
Day 14 Fly to Ramechhap (20 min) and drive to Kathmandu (4-5h) and farewell dinner.
Day 15 Free day to sightsee, shop and fly home.

    Our treks vary in difficulty from moderate to challenging. We recommend a good level of fitness for all our treks, as they involve walking for several hours a day, often in hilly or mountainous terrain. Prior hiking or trekking experience is advantageous but not essential for our moderate treks.

    What can I expect in terms of accommodation during the treks?

    Accommodations range from comfortable hotels in Kathmandu and tea houses on the trek. We ensure cleanliness, comfort, and the best local hospitality. In urban areas or starting points like Kathmandu, we typically use hotels that are of a 3-star standard or higher.

    How do you ensure safety during the treks?

    Safety is our utmost priority. All our treks are led by experienced and first-aid trained guides. We carry essential medical supplies, and our guides are well-versed in emergency procedures. We also ensure all participants are properly acclimatized to high altitudes.

    How do I book a trek, and what's the payment process?

    You can book a trek by filling out the inquiry form on our website or by contacting us directly via email or phone. A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due before the trek begins. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, Zelle, Venmo and bank transfers.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    We offer a full refund for cancellations made more than 60 days before the trek start date. For cancellations made 30 to 59 days before the trek, we refund 50% of the total cost. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the trek start date are non-refundable.

    What should I pack for a trek?

    We provide all participants with a detailed packing list that includes clothing, gear, and personal items tailored to the specific trek and season. Generally, you should prepare for a range of weather conditions and bring layers, a good quality sleeping bag, hiking boots, a backpack, and personal medication.

    Do I need travel insurance?

    Yes, we require all participants to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical evacuation and trip cancellation. Please ensure your insurance covers high-altitude trekking if applicable. We can help recommend you a few options.

    What food and water are provided on the treks?

    We provide three meals a day, including local and international cuisine, prepared in the tea houses we will be lodging in. Bottled water, can be easily purchased throughout the trek, or we can recommend purifying pills to purchase.

    Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences?

    Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions and preferences. Please inform us in advance, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

    What should I expect after completing the trek?

    After completing your trek, we typically arrange a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey. This is also a great time to share feedback and reflections with your group and guides. We can assist with post-trek accommodations and extensions if you wish to explore more.
